§ 01
Overview

CrediBE explores how modern banking experiences can become more human by removing unnecessary complexity and focusing on transparency.

The project challenges conventional banking interfaces through thoughtful interaction design and motion.

§ 02
Challenge

Creating a banking experience that inspires confidence without overwhelming users.

§ 03
Research

What we went looking for

We audited a spread of consumer banking apps and found the same pattern repeating: clarity sacrificed for density. Balances competed with promotions, transaction histories offered no sense of hierarchy, and the moments that mattered most — sending money, checking what had cleared — sat beneath navigation built around the bank's org chart rather than the customer's day.

Trust in banking isn't declared. It's the sum of every small moment where the interface tells you the truth.

§ 05
Wireframes

Structure before surface

CrediBE proposes a single governing principle: show the person what they need to know, in the order they need to know it, and say nothing else. Every screen is designed around one primary question, with secondary detail earned through interaction rather than presented upfront. Motion carries the explanatory weight that copy usually has to.

§ 06
Identity

Trust, drawn quietly

The identity is built to get out of the way of numbers. Restrained type, a narrow palette, no decorative colour — because in a financial product every unnecessary flourish reads as something being sold rather than something being told.

§ 07
Brand Construction

Set out to be trusted at any size

The mark appears beside balances, on cards, and in the confirmation states where certainty matters most. It is constructed on plain geometry and held to strict clear space, so it never competes with the one number a person came to check.

§ 08
Design System

Documented like a manual

A compact set of account, transaction and confirmation components designed to compose into any banking flow without introducing new patterns.

§ 09
Product Design

Screen by screen

The concept centres on a home view that answers "what do I have, and what just happened" before anything else. Transfers resolve in three steps with a confirmation state that animates the movement of value rather than simply reporting it, and every irreversible action is given a deliberate pause.

§ 10
Signature Experience

Watching value move

Transfers resolve in three steps, and the confirmation animates the movement of value rather than simply reporting it. Every irreversible action is given a deliberate pause. Motion carries the explanatory weight that copy usually has to.

§ 11
Engineering

Built to hold up

Prototyped in Figma with a fully interactive motion study, structured so the transition and easing specifications hand off directly to a production implementation. Component naming and token structure follow a real design-token pipeline rather than a presentation file.

§ 12
Ecosystem

One voice across the account

Balances, transactions, transfers and confirmations all speak the same way. The consistency is the product — an interface that tells the truth in one place and hedges in another has already lost the argument.

§ 13
Reflection

What we'd carry forward

The exploration confirmed that restraint reads as competence in financial products. The parts we removed — promotional surfaces, secondary navigation, decorative colour — did more for perceived trustworthiness than anything we added.
